More charges against Wigington, wife

Former Magistrate Judge Allen Wigington and wife Rosemary Wigington

Additional charges were brought against the former Chief Magistrate Allen Wigington by the March grand jury, bringing the total counts against the 25-year county employee to 58 with the investigation continuing. 

The charges now include more than 40 counts of misuse of the county credit card for personal purchases; a handful of theft by taking and forgeries and violation of oath of office. Most of the charges from the March grand jury were re-indictments of previous charges.
