Teachers feel anxious, unsupported about return to school

      With COVID-19 cases in Georgia spiking over the last few weeks, many teachers are concerned that even with safety protocols it will be nearly impossible to keep students and staff protected on-campus. 

The Progress spoke with five teachers in the Pickens system at different levels about their concerns and suggestions for the fall semester. The Progress agreed not to print names so teachers would speak more openly about their concerns.
