Mrs. Donnie Mae Ridings
 Mrs. Donnie Mae Ridings, age 81 of the Yellow Creek Community, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. She was a homemaker and member of Mica Baptist Church.
 Survivors include her sons, Roger and Richard Ridings, both of Ball Ground, and Rice “Pee Wee” Ridings of Matt; daughters, Dianne Howell, Beverly Ridings and Dora Lee Ridings, all of Ball Ground, Deborah Sue Goode, Dell O’Shields, Catherine Hill and Teresa Fitts, all of Dawsonville, and Becky Bruce of Marble Hill. Eighteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive.
 The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 from Mica Baptist Church with the Revs. Jerry Orr, Johnny Padgett, Harold Evans, Preston Wilkie and Mr. Tyler Goode officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Sosebee Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

David Duvall
 Mr. David Duvall, age 41 of Hood Road, Talking Rock, passed away Friday, Jan. 31, 2003 as a result of an auto accident in Gordon County.
 Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Duvall of Calhoun; sons, Michael and Johnathan Duvall of Jasper; brothers, Steve Duvall of Ellijay, Larry Duvall of Gordon County and Brian Duvall of Rome; sisters, Debbie Bell of Adairsville, Janice Black of Ellijay, Lisa Marshall of Calhoun and Connie Cantrell of Jasper. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
 The funeral service was held Monday, Feb. 3 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with interment at the Lake Forest Memorial Park in Jasper. The Revs. Ronnie Ray, Wallace Parks and Mark Yoko officiated.

James Duncan
 Mr. James (Jimmy) Edward Duncan, age 43 of Tate, passed away Jan. 28, 2003.
 Survivors include two sons, Joseph and Brandon Duncan, both of Hiram, Ga.; father and step-mother, William Carlous and Bertice M. Duncan, Marble Hill; step-father, Marlin Nelson, Bremen; four brothers, William Carlous Duncan, Hiram, Ga., David Wayne Duncan, Ranger, Lee Nelson, Hiram, and James Capes, Rome; five sisters, Peggy Pope and Lynn Keaton, both of Douglasville, Cathy Williams, Temple, Patricia Childers, Dawsonville, and Sherry Jones, Marble Hill. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Ayers; and two sisters, Diane Highfeld and Brenda Battles.
 Visitation was held at Cagle Funeral Home Jan. 30 for family and friends.

Bobby Cornett
 Mr. Bobby D. Cornett, age 63 of Jasper, passed away Monday, Jan. 27, 2002 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta.
 Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Tony and Kelly Cornett, Waleska, and Tommy Cornett, Jasper; two daughters, Brenda Gail Robinson of Marble Hill and Paulette Stamey, Blue Ridge; four sisters, Nila Chumley, Rethel Hightower and Faye Hitt, all of Jasper, and Thelma Stone, Calhoun. Four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
 The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29 from the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with the Revs. Joey Phillips and Mike Byess officiating. Interment was in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Ronnie Morris, Gary Hightower, Anthony Estes, Billy Clark, Danny Hitt and Michael Taylor.

Bobby White
 Mr. Bobby Gerald White, age 61 of Jasper, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003 at his residence.
 Survivors include his wife, Jean White of Jasper; father, Roy White of Snellville; sons, Brian White of Statum and Todd White of Covington; daughter, Tina McGhee of Brassleton; sister, Judy Davis of Conyers. Eight grandchildren also survive.
 The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31 from Roper Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Nichols officiating. Interment followed in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

Ralph McPherson
 Mr. Ralph McPherson, age 85 of Talking Rock, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003 at Northside Cherokee Hospital.
 Survivors include two sons, Bill McPherson, Long Branch Community, and Bobby McPherson, Waleska; three daughters, JoAnn Southerland, Whitestone, Lisa Crowe, Waleska, and Jackie McPherson, Blue Ridge; one brother, Tunney McPherson, Ludville; one sister, Sally Lanning, Jasper. Nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.
 The funeral service was held Thursday, Jan. 30 at 3 p.m. from the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with the Revs. Clay Fountain and Hollis Crook officiating. Interment was in the Elb Bunch Cemetery in Ludville. Pallbearers were: Jerry Lee Bunch, Randy Fields, J.R. Totherow, Billy Boling and Nikin McPherson.

Ethel Caylor
Mrs. Ethel Caylor, age 75 of Jasper, passed away Feb. 1, 2003 at Murray Medical Center in Chatsworth.
 Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ed and Sue Caylor of Dalton and Jimmy and Vicki Caylor of Jasper; two brothers, Leo Moss of the Blaine Community and Donnie Moss of Marietta; three sisters, Ruby Taylor, Ruth Jones and Chloe Willis, all of Marietta. Four grandchildren also survive.
 The funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3 from the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with the Rev. Ernest Hughes officiating. Interment was in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were: Cory Hawkins, Johnny Caylor, Jimmy Kelly, Ned Hillhouse, Robby Quinton and Dotson Wilson.
