Ida Blalock
Mrs. Ida Blalock, age 93 of Jasper, passed away Tuesday, June 30,
2009 at Canton Nursing Center.
Survivors include two brothers, Pete Cagle, Hickory Flat, and Roy Cagle, Holly Springs; and a sister, Clemmie Hawkins, Canton.
The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 2 from Bethany Baptist Church with the Revs. Thurston Buck Parker and Grant Wade officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Pallbearers
were: Jimmy and Charles Cagle, Jimmy Blalock, Billy Odum, Gene Stewart and Thomas Wilkie. Honorary pallbearers were: David Bruce, Tom Hulsey, Robert Taylor and Thurman Padgett. The family requests in lieu of flowers, make donations to Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Cagle Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Billie Rauch
Mrs. Billie Ruth Rauch, age 69 of Talking Rock, Ga., passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at her residence following an extended illness.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jackie Rauch. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and friend to many.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Jack B. Rauch, Talking Rock; children, Debra Loumakis, Cumming, Lorie Greene, South Carolina, and John Rauch, Talking Rock; grandchildren, Melanie, Jennifer, Justin, Cameron, Valerie, Audrey, Charlene and Nicci; great- grandchildren, Skylar and Kyla; brothers, Ira Lee Davis, Jr. and Tom Davis, both of Alabama; sister, Leota Brown, Jasper.
A memorial service was held Monday, July 6 at 2 p.m. in the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Ricky Studdard officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Countryside Hospice, 104 East Patton Avenue, Lafayette, Ga. 30728.
