Some people just never learn. When you push a button, you don't always think about the consequences before hand. Case in point. I just had a very pleasant conversation with a Pickens County Sheriff's Department representitive. It seems that someone made a complaint that they were being threatened by me. Someone by the name of [deleted]. Now I wonder who that could be. Of course the Sheriff also told me he read the emails that I sent and although they were insulting he did not see any direct threats. He stated I should not send anymore emails. I pointed out that all my emails that were sent were "responses" to emails I had received. He said he had not seen the emails I was responding to that he had only seen my emails. I said it's no wonder to me. If he admits I was responding to some[deleted] he sent, he has no reason to try to make trouble for me. I was very obliging and provided him with copies of the emails I had been sent and responded to. He said he got the picture now. It's always best to get both sides of a story. He left shortly thereafter after I told him I was not only not stupid enough to put direct threats in writing, I was not stupid enough to kick the crap out of some fat ass liar unless they put their hands on me first which I knew would not happen because that would require a spine and the person making the accusations of receiving threats was a paranoid nutcase that had no spine. He has stated the VA is out to screw him, the U.S. Government is out to screw him, President Obama is out to screw him and now Chooch is out to screw him. Everybody is out to get him. Had a good laugh over that one. Thanks for entertaining me although I did miss the end of the Pittsburgh football game. You want to play some more games? If I am lying about health care reform, so are the president and Max Baucus:
The New York Times released a new poll today finding that 55% of Americans believe President Obama has not clearly explained his plans for changing the health care system and 59% said they thought the health care changes under consideration in Congress were confusing. In a follow-up interview, Paul Corkery, a Democrat from Somerset, N.J, said: “The Obama administration seems to have a plan, but I’m not understanding the exact details.”
Corkery shouldn’t feel that bad. The Congressional Budget Office (CBO), the independent nonpartisan agency responsible for reviewing legislative initiatives with budgetary implications, has no idea what is in the legislation either.
During yesterday’s Senate Finance Committee mark-up, the CBO realized only after the vote, that they had made a $600 million mistake in scoring an amendment by Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-MI).
A $600 million mistake... oops! This is why I took a break from all this until the democrats can get their stories straight. There are 5 bills, and over 500 ammendments being voted on, one being a public option ammendment to the Baucus bill. There is no way this thing is going to pass, not this year, and I think not in 2010. It's an election year. Government health care is vastly unpopular and the democrats want to stay in Washington.

Vell phones are actually banned at school, sort of. The kids can bring them, but are not allowed to use them. They risk discipinary action, but they don't seem to care because they violate the rules every single day. My first reaction was how does a 15 year old wind up with an i-phone. Aren't those things going for $2-300 bucks?
