Three confirmed cases of swine flu in Pickens

Three cases of H1N1, more commonly known as swine flu, were confirmed in Pickens County this week. Dr. Anil Yadav of Internal Medicine said Tuesday his office received positive confirmation on three cases of swine flu after testing six people who came to his office exhibiting flu-like symptoms. Yadav said all of the patients came from a camp located here where people have arrived from all parts of the country. See print edition for full story.
