Public hearings will be held to receive public input and comments on the proposed animal control ordinance for Pickens County. The hearings will be held in the Commissioner's meeting room located in the Pickens County Administrative Center at 1266 East Church Street in Jasper, Georgia.
The first hearing will be conducted on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, beginning at 6:00 p.m. The second hearing will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. Copies of the proposed ordinance are available at the Pickens County Planning and Development Office located in the Administrative Center or can be viewed online at pickenscountyga.gov. All citizens are invited to attend.
