The Joy House is seeking to complete the fundraising for our second girls’ home by July 1st. Will you help us meet our goal to open our doors and hearts to more teen girls in crisis?
For the past three to four years we’ve experienced more need for placement of teen girls in crisis than we can meet. This is the reason when we launched our current capital campaign we decided to build a second girl’s home. Our current girl’s home is full and we have families waiting for placement or we’re providing them referrals because their needs are urgent.
We’re seeking to reach $600,000 in capital funds by July 1st. That will give us the resources we need to complete the project with a plan to begin construction in the second half of the year. We are currently at $425,000 in gifts and pledges. We’ve realized $100,000 in new funds in the past two months, as I’ve met individually with some of our partners. In order to meet this goal we’re pursuing grants, doing a broad based appeal to all our partners, and making this need known through our social media audience and local media.
Would you prayerfully consider investing in our “2nd Home for 2nd Chances” project so that we can open our doors and hearts to more teen girls in crisis?
