It is the hope of ministry leaders that all who can will join them in prayer at the annual event. Shown is last year’s Day of Prayer on the courthouse lawn.

Thursday, May 2nd, is the National Day of Prayer. Services will be held around the nation in thousands of local communities. We will be part of this great event.
The Pickens County National Day of Prayer service will be held at noon on Thursday, May 2nd. The service will be held in front of the Pickens County Courthouse located on Main Street, in Jasper.
This is a community-wide outreach of the Pickens County Ministerial Association (PCMA). It is the hope and desire of the pastors and other ministry leaders that all who can will take a few minutes out of their day to pray with them at this annual event. This important event is open to everyone. Please, mark your calendars and tell your friends.
Pastors, members of local churches, and ministry leaders, from around our community will participate in the service. This important event is open to everyone.
During the service, prayers will be offered up for our nation, our military, city, state, national leaders, our teachers and schools, pastors, churches, ministries, and our families. There will be music by the Cowboy Church singers. The service will last about 30 minutes.
Few would argue that America desperately needs prayer. We all do. We believe it is never too late to pray and that God hears the prayers of His People. This will be a great opportunity to act on that belief. Please join us.
