This past weekend Chandler Smith and his Venturinni Motor Sports ARCA team took on the Madison Wisconsin 1/2 mile track. Coming off a history making three poles in a row performance at Toledo Ohio a few weeks ago, it was time to try and beat his own record.
After leading practice, it was time to qualify. When it was all over, Chandler broke his own ARCA record and won his 4th pole in a row. Winning the pole was great but Chandler wanted a win. At the start of the race Chandler lead a few laps before radioing his crew chief letting him know that his right front wheel was loose. Having to pit put Chandler behind running 15th and way behind. Knowing he had a great car, Chandler slowly but surely picked off his competitors one by one. By lap 103
Chandler had retaken the led and never looked back winning his first ARCA race in just his forth start. Chandler would like to thank Toyota, Craftsmen, Quick-Tie Products and the Venturinni Motorsports team for a great weekend. Up next Chandler will be racing his Super Late Model car at 5-Flags Speedway this Friday night. Thanks to all the fans that support Chandler and the race team.
