Washington, D.C. –Rep. Tom Graves (R-GA-14) last night was unanimously re-elected by Georgia and South Carolina House Republicans to the powerful House Republican Steering Committee, a 32-member committee that determines Republican members’ committee assignments and selects committee chairmen. Rep. Graves was elected to the committee as Region 4 Representative, which consists of Georgia and South Carolina.
“I’m honored to be re-elected by Georgia and our region to the House Republican Steering Committee at such an exciting time,” said Rep. Graves. “As the House, Senate and White House work hard next Congress to enact conservative reforms, I’ll continue serving on the Steering Committee as a strong voice for our region’s interests.”
