This weekend is the last chance to see "The Fox on the Fairway," by Ken Ludwig. This hilarious comedy romp deals with golf, romance, bad golf, bad romance, and country club rivalries. It does so in a wildly comic way, with everything from a golf lesson on the Tap Room floor, to an inebriated cha-cha, to a wild chase and playing "catch" with a priceless antique. Don't miss your last chance to see it. Final performances are July 22, 23, both at 7:30 p.m. and July 24 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $18 for adults, $16 for seniors and $14 for students. They may be bought in advance, which Tater Patch recommends for this final weekend, at www.taterpatchplayers.org.
Coming up in August: Four Tater Patch fan favorites are hard at work rehearsing "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change", an exciting musical addition to 2016's Year of Comedy. Buffy Bezdek, Patrick Hall, Vanessa Stancil and John Tinsley bring to life the funny side of relationships, from first date to death, in a series of vignettes for an adult audience.
First produced off Broadway in 1995, this musical ran for nine years and is highly acclaimed as a consistent crowd pleaser. This "must see" show will run for two weeks only, on Fridays August 12 and 19; Saturdays August 13 and 20, and Sundays August 14 and 21. Friday and Saturday shows start at 7:30, while the Sunday shows begin at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $18 for adults and $16 for seniors and $14 for students. This show is not eligible for season ticket holders, but current season ticket holders will be able to select tickets just for them at a reduced price either online or at the box office. Online tickets are available at www.taterpatchplayers.org. The box office opens one hour before show time for each performance.
