Graduation will begin at 9 a.m. on May 28th, recalling the class of 2016’s high school days while celebrating their future in college, the workforce, or the military.

The community is welcome at the graduation ceremony and those attending are encouraged to utilize the shuttles leaving from Pickens County Middle School and Chattahoochee Tech  beginning at 7:40 a.m. for transport to Pickens High.

Senior Class Vice President Jacob Campbell will deliver the invocation followed by the National Anthem performed by the Pickens High Symphonic Band. Senior Class Secretary and Salutatorian Ginny Morris will introduce this year’s speaker, Debbie Roper, before delivering her own salutatory address.

Hannah Kilpatrick will give the  valedictorian address before Superintendent Dr. Lula Mae Perry, Dr. Chris LeMieux and Tucker Green, senior class president, award the class of 2016 their diplomas. Following the class song, Tucker Green will deliver the president’s speech and the senior class, led by the PHS Chorus Ensemble, will sing the Alma Mater.

The new graduates will depart to their class song, “See You When I See You” by Jason Aldean.
