The video cut out most of the talking between so you really don't know what was said between either party. Who goes to a public place in this day and age dressed like that in a helmet anyway, you are just asking for problems. Those punks probably ran their smart mouths to the police. Show all the footage before you go saying they were too rough on them. I am tired of cops getting a bad rap for getting on to spoiled kids.

I don't care how much trash they talked. What you don't seem to get is it hurt no one. The cop came around the corner into the lot squealing tires and being aggressive. It's the badge complex most cowards get when they put on a badge. He didn't deserve respect for his action, but the kids didn't deserve the nasty actions of a police officer either. Oh I guess I should mention that I know the "Kids" that were popped for this. There is no way they did anything to that cop to deserve the attention he gave.

@ Resident, I find your statements to be comical. Look around this county, or are you too blind to see the meth and drugs that kids are
into now? I would much rather kids in our county to be out dressed in riding gear and goofing off. You may not see it my way though. These guys did nothing wrong! They were having innocent fun. Are you mad because that was your favorite motorized cart? I assure you, there are many others there to ride.

So what if one of them ran into an elderly person or a child and caused bodily harm? Then what? Too tough on them, that's what you say the cops were? Yeah, who knows what their intentions were? They both could have had explosives on them. You people that are always armchair quarterbacking cops beat everything. Break the laws and feel the wrath, people. This country and its idiots. God bless America.

Personally, I think the youths should complete about 100 hours of community service. People need to learn how to behave in public. I go into stores to purchase what I need, and I don't need to encounter juvenile delinquents run amok. There's a place for fun. A public store is not that place.

If I'd had done anything like this on my bicycle when I was a kid, I would have spent the next two weeks in the woodshed and if I bad mouthed a cop when he tried to stop me I would have blisters on my butt.

Too bad it don't happen yet today

lol!!!! To all the obese individuals who ride motorized scooters throughout Walmart because you're too lazy to walkPUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:
Please be advised that these carts have a high speed of 0.6 mph for this reason, we are asking everyone to be on the lookout for elderly and children while riding. These carts have such excessive power they are known for being unable to maneuver in time to avoid accidents when a pedestrian steps out from an isle. If you feel you may not be able to control the powerful beast which you are riding...walk. Or else be arrested for disorderly conduct.

Asinine right?

If I had behaved in a like manner when growing up I would have spent some time in the woodshed learning some manners and I wouldn't have been chopping wood.
It seems that since the child gurus have ruled that we must NOT hurt a young'uns feelings, demeanor, attitude, egos or backside, many have grown up not knowing when something is gross, inappropriate, dangerous or just plain stupid.
Sadly, from the majority of prior answers, others have obviously had the same lack of needed basic training back when it might have later done society some good.
