SEC Primary: Polls Open in Georgia on Tuesday

voting-pinATLANTA, GEORGIA – After months of campaign visits from the candidates, it is time for Georgia voters to have their say in the March 1 SEC Primary. The polls across Georgia will be open 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday.  Voters are reminded to bring a valid photo ID to vote.

“It has been great watching all seven candidates visit our state during the final days of the campaign and learn about the issues facing Georgians,” said Secretary of State of Brian Kemp. “I know our voters are ready to head to the polls and vote for their candidate.”

A great turnout is expected on Tuesday based on the new record Georgia voters have already set during early voting.  417,491 ballots have been cast through Friday, February 26 and easily broke the previous Presidential Preference Primary record of 271,418 set in 2008.

Looking at the vote by party, 260,443 voted in the Republican Primary and 156,663 ballots have been cast in the Democratic Primary. Some mail-in absentee ballots are still outstanding.  Ballots for military and overseas voters need to be received by 5:00 on Friday, March 4.  All other mail-in ballots need to be received by close of business on March 1.

On Election Day, if voters see or hear of problems at the polls, they should contact the Secretary of State’s office Stop Voter Fraud unit by calling the hotline (877-725-9797) or visiting the dedicated webpage:

Voters can view a sample ballot or find their polling place at or by using the “GA Votes” smartphone app.  The app can be downloaded for free on Apple and Android devices.

Brian Kemp has been Secretary of State since January 2010. Among the office’s wide-ranging responsibilities, the Secretary of State is charged with conducting secure, accessible, and fair elections, the registration of corporations, and the regulation of securities, charities, and professional license holders.  For more information about the office go to on Twitter @BrianKempGA.

All you Trump or should I say Drumpf supporters watch this.
The guy is an unrepentant liar who got where he is solely by his inheritance. He is actually not a very savvy businessman. He is not honest and certainly doesn't lead in a Christian manner.

Look I would go out cruising for babes with Trump any time. He'd be a hell of a good dude to party with. Better than Cruz or Rubio (of course their limited English speaking ability could hamper them at a party). But as a candidate Trump has two things that people like but I see as negatives: He is rich and he is angry. And those two add up to bad news for average Joes once he is in office.

Talk all you want Little Frank. Just wait til tomorrow and Trump is our new president. Then we'll see what you got to say. Tomorrow will be a new day for this country.

Disgusting Cubans trying to take over our country, either one of whom could easily be caught in bed with a dead girl (Cruz) or a live boy (Rubio).

And Trump is even worse. He's acting like an even bigger [deleted] than Obama and almost as big of one as Clinton. And I don't want to vote for someone who acts like a [deleted].

I voted for Carson!
