Developer David Shouse, center, at a CARES Food Pantry fundraiser hosted at Jump N Jasper, one of his many commercial properties in Pickens County. Shouse donated the building to be used for the fundraiser.

Last Thursday morning David Shouse, owner and founder of Atlanta Security Services, gave a brief tour of the Luke Carver Road building where he is relocating his successful Forsyth-based business.
Even though he is excited about the move, Shouse, who has been buying up commercial properties in Pickens over the last year, has much bigger plans for the county. According to the developer, he has commitments from a major movie theatre chain, a big box grocery store, and two major restaurant chains to build together in a complex on a parcel off of Highway 515.  He also said there are immediate plans to construct an indoor laser tag and airsoft arena in the building that previously housed the Bealls Outlet store on East Church Street.

See comments from the developer about his big plans in our print and online edition.
