The Good Samaritan Health and Wellness Clinic officially opened their first permanent building Monday. Jeff Downing of the free clinic's board addressed those on hand for the ribbon cutting as Good Sam's Executive Director Carole Maddux looks on, shown above.
Downing said that after 11 years working out of trailers, the first of three planned buildings to open is a significant step forward for the free clinic and was a real team effort. A second building that will be double the size of the first could be under construction by July. At that time, the clinic will be able to replace all “11 leaky trailers.”
