Dennie Lowe
    Dennie Eugene Lowe, 54, of Dalton passed away Sunday March 6, 2016.
    He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clyde and Dora Lowe and Holly Chadwick; nephew, Christopher Allen Cox,  and a niece, Allison Marie Mullins.
    Survivors include his son, Cody Lowe of Dalton; parents, Caryl Nix of Dalton and Jimmy and Alice Lowe of Jasper; grandmother, Nannie Mae Chadwick of Chatsworth; sisters, Jean and Kenneth Cox of Dalton, Joan and Eddie McDonald of Kalispell, MT; brothers and sister-in-law, David and Patricia Parks of Germany and Adam Lowe of Jasper; nieces, nephews and spouses, Jeremy and Amanda Cox, Kelly Cox, Alisa and Zach Parker, Holly Johnston, Ben and Mary McDonald; special aunt, Linda Herron; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. 
    Funeral Services were held Wednesday, March 9 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Bret Yaeger officiating. Interment followed in the Holly Creek Cemetery.

Kathryn Hutsenpiller
November 13, 1947 – March 30, 2016

    Mrs. Kathryn Jermyn Hutsenpiller, 68, of Waleska, Georgia passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.  Kathryn was born November 13, 1947 in Gulfport, Mississippi to Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Jermyn.
    She was a 1965 graduate of Gulfport High School and a 1967 graduate of Perkinston Junior College in Perkinston, Mississippi.  She was employed by the Cherokee and Pickens County School Systems for many years as a paraprofessional. 
    She was a faithful servant in the Jasper United Methodist Church, serving with the Youth Group, United Methodist Women, the Dorcas Circle and the Lunch Bunch.  Kathryn was an active member of the Appalachia Cattlemen and did fund raising for 4-H and FFA scholarships. 
    Kathryn had a tremendous love for her faith, her church, and her family. She was gifted in many areas and loved cooking, painting, sewing, and needlework.
    Kathryn was predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Jermyn from Gulfport, Mississippi.
    She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bill Hutsenpiller of Waleska; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Rob Lively of Dalton, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Brooke Hutsenpiller of Nashville, TN; granddaughters, Emma Lively of Dalton,  Anna James Hutsenpiller of Nashville, TN and Lydia Hutsenpiller of Nashville, TN; grandsons, Ian Lively of Dalton, GA; Tharp Hutsenpiller of  Nashville, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorris and Butch Prather of  Nashville, TN; Betty and Tal Flurry of  Long Beach, MS; sister, Elizabeth Fortenberry of  Long Beach, MS; and nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
    A memorial service was held 2 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Jasper United Methodist Church with Reverend Greg Meadows and Reverend Max Caylor officiating.  
    In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to:

Cleo Garrison
February 5, 1931 - March 28, 2016

    Mrs. Cleo Garrison, 85, of Jasper, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
    Mrs. Garrison is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Gail Garrison of Jasper and Robert and Gail Pettigrew of Jasper; daughters and sons-in-law, Martha and Mickey Grizzle of Jasper and Joyce and David Owen of Talking Rock; brother, W.L. Wilson of Jasper; sisters: Pauline Hightower of Jasper, Lois Cantrell of Jasper, and Betty Parton of Ball Ground; grandchildren, Michelle Payne, Malenthia Odum, Heather Pulliam, Michelle Carter, and Michael Garrison; great-grandchildren, Ryan Payne, Calista Odum, Brantley Pulliam, and Bella Carter; and several nieces and nephews.
    The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2016 from the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Harper officiating. Interment at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Pall Bearers served: Adam Pulliam, Glenn Payne, Dave Odum, Michael Garrison, Danny Wilson, and Marty Wilson.

Donald Richards
August 19, 1934 - March 29, 2016

    Mr. Donald Richards, 81, of the Ludville Community, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at his residence.
    Mr. Richards is survived by his wife, Louise Richards of Ludville Community; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Melissa Richards of Ludville Community, Marshell Richards of Ludville Community, Mitchell and Dena Richards of Marble Hill, and Tracy and Christie Richards of Jasper; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Michael Taylor of Ellijay; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
    The funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. George Chastain officiating. Interment at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery. Pall Bearers served: Tyler Chastain, Jason Taylor, Jessie Wyman, Jody Fowler, Chase Shirley, and Dakota Chastain.

Willie Grace Carver
August 4, 1930 - March 31, 2016

    Mrs. Willie Grace Carver, 85, of Jasper, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in Rome.
    Mrs. Carver is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Betty and Guy Mullins of Jasper and Jeanette Lee of Jasper; grandchildren, Joanne West, Raymond Ledbetter, Shayna Hulsey, and Travis Hulsey; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    Mrs. Carver was preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Carver and her son, Jimmy Hulsey.
    The funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2016 at Salem Baptist Church with Revs. Alan Caylor, Gene Childers, and Buck Parker officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
    The family accepted flowers but prefer donations to Cagle Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

Patricia Dlugasch
    Patricia Dlugasch, 52, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Huntsville Hospital.
    She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Childers; grandparents, Franz and Julie Totzauer; grandparents, Omada and Estelle Childers.
    She is survived by her daughter, Erika Lynn Starling of Baltimore, Ohio; mother, Erika Childers of Jasper; four grandchildren, Cloey, Justin, Cadence, and Trinity all of Baltimore, Ohio; sisters and brother-in-law, Teresa and Gene Deal of Monticello, Pam Long of Conyers; nieces, Christina Deal, Tracia Deal, Jessica Long; nephews, Nicholas Deal, Shaun Deal, Jason Long; great-niece, Riley Synder; and great-nephew, Micha Williams.  Several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives also survive.
    A memorial service will be held 12 noon on April 9, 2016 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home.
