Timothy Williams
    Timothy Leon Williams, 56, of Jasper, Ga., died Thursday, March 3, 2016. 
    Mr. Williams was a retired police officer for the Jasper City Police Department and a member of Talking Rock First Baptist Church. He loved to spend time working on computers and his guns. Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of 38 years, Wanda Williams, who never left his side; sons, James Timothy Williams and Jonathan Christopher Williams (Lisa); parents, Leon and Betty Williams; sister, Tammy Williams; Grandchildren, Melanie Williams and Zachary Williams.  Online condolences may be expressed at mariettafuneralhome.org

Lola Greene
May 8, 1936 – March 22, 2016

    Mrs. Lola Faye Greene, 79, of Jasper passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at home. She was born May 8, 1936 to Judson and Lillie Davis in Canton, Georgia.
    Faye is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Nina and Rick Tucker of Jasper, Laura Jean Martin of Waleska; sisters, Linda Wade of Canton, Barbara McGee of Hickory Flat, Kathy Luxerdo of Cartersville; grandchildren, Zachary Martin of Waleska, Ashley Martin of Waleska, Lee Greene of Ball Ground, Bryan Greene of Talking Rock, Dwight Blanton of Hill City, Jessica Gates of New Jersey; great-grandchildren, Lillie, Dylan, Matthew, Hayden, and Abagail.  Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
    She was preceded in death by husband, Jerry O’Neil Greene; children, Loretta Blanton, Danny O’Neil Greene, and Beverly Jolane Greene.
    The funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 24 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home. Interment followed at Lake Forest Memorial Park. 
    Arrangements were entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home & Crematory in Jasper.

Patsy Rudnicki
December 15, 1950 - March 21, 2016

    Mrs. Patsy Crowe Evans Rudnicki, 65, of Saint Simons Island, formerly of Jasper; passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Grady Memorial Hospital.
    Patsy is survived by her granddaughter, Macy Evans of Jasper; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Jerry Blackwell of Jasper and Thelma and Dale Slaton of Saint Simons Island; brothers and sisters-in-law, Hayden and Carolyn Crowe of Johns Creek, Ga and Tim and Susan Crowe of Pembroke, GA, and nieces and nephews.
    The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016 at the chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Tippens officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

Doris S. McHan
August 6, 1925 - March 23, 2016

    Mrs. Doris S. McHan, age 90 of Ball Ground, Ga, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Phoenix Senior Living in Roswell.
    Mrs. McHan is survived by her son, Mark McHan of Ball Ground; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Al Camp of Fayetteville; and her grandson, Allen Camp of Fayetteville. 
    Mrs. McHan was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Clayton (Red) and Lao Stoner; husband, Carl McHan Jr; and brother: D.D. (Bud) Stoner.
    The family requests in lieu of flowers donate to Ball Ground First Baptist Church or the Ball Ground Library.

Helen Low
August 31, 1931 – March 24, 2016

    Mrs. Helen Hobson Low, 84, passed away at Rock Creek Manor on March 24, 2016 after a lengthy illness.  She was born on August 31, 1931 in Pickens County, Georgia to the late Mose and Alma Goss Hobson.  Mrs. Low lived on the same street in Talking Rock for most of her life, focusing on making a happy home for her family.  Mrs. Low attended Shorter College after graduation from Pickens High School.  She was a member of Talking Rock First Baptist Church.  In addition to caring for her family, she was very compassionate toward animals and never turned away a stray in need.
    Mrs. Low was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, N.C. Low; brothers C.W. Hobson, Max Hobson, sisters-in-law Flora Sharp Hobson, Betty Low Culverhouse, and Barbara Low Crowe.
    She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Dennis “Dee” Hodge of Rome; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Wina Low of Vinings; son, Joey Low and Kelly Carlisle of Talking Rock; brother in-law Theron Crowe; grandchildren, Drs. Chris and Cari Low, Ali Low and fiancé Chris Smythe, Kayla Low; great-grandchildren, Annabelle Low, Josie Low, and Bryant Carlisle.  Several other relatives also survive.
    Services were officiated by Rev. Larry Kelly at Talking Rock First Baptist Church on Monday, March 28 with interment following in the church cemetery.  Rev. David Stuart, accompanied by Mrs. Georgia Cagle, performed “In the Garden” and “Blessed Assurance.”
    Pallbearers included grandson Chris Low, nephews Jeff Culverhouse, Greg Culverhouse, Andy Crowe, and dear friends Larry Watson and Mark Grizzle.
    Arrangements are entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home & Crematory in Jasper.
