Dennis Shooltz
    Mr. Dennis James Shooltz, age 54 of Jasper, passed away on February 8, 2016 following a period of declining health.
    Survivors include his children, Brittany and Sarah Shooltz; grandchildren, Aubrey and Allie Gallman; his parents, Lavern Shooltz and Darlene Long. He is also survived by his brother, Richard Shooltz and sister, Denise Parkhurst. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
    There are no public services planned at this time.
    Lakeside Funeral Home, 121 Claremore Drive, in Woodstock was in charge of arrangements.

Harry Lee Brooks
    Mr. Harry Lee Brooks, age 86 of Jasper passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at his residence.
    He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Sandy Brooks, Marietta and Joseph Lee and Janice Brooks of Woodstock; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Mark Flynn, Marietta and Cindy and Robert Holcomb also of Marietta; brothers and sister-in-law, Hayes Brooks and Earl and Brenda Brooks, all of Jasper; sister, Martha Krueger of Florida; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were held at 11 AM Friday, February 11, 2016 at Jasper First Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Pope officiating.  Interment followed at Jasper City Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers were Jesse Brooks, John Paul Brooks, Wesley Taylor, Jeremy Brooks, Daniel Whaley, Bryan Pippen and Rhett Brooks.
    The family accepted flowers or donations to Jasper First Baptist Church Building Fund.
    Cagle Funeral Home was honored to serve the Brooks family.

Leonora Ezzard Mullinax
    Leonora Ezzard Mullinax, age 76 of Talking Rock, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, February 9, 2016.
    Mrs. Mullinax is survived by her son, Jack P. Mullinax of Talking Rock; daughters, Sarah Leonora Mullinax of Talking Rock and Doris West of Talking Rock; brother and sister-in-law, Mansell and Frances Ezzard of Eatonton; sisters and brother-in-law, Anne Hamilton of Copper Cove, TX and Doris and Sandy Adams of Dawsonville; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held at 3 PM Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Kelley and Joseph Ezzard officiating.  Interment followed at Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers were John Holden, Lee Holden, Ward Ezzard, Glen Ezzard, Micheal Adams and Ralph Corley.
    The family requests in lieu of flowers donations to Cagle Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses.

 Rosemary H. Johnston
    Mrs. Rosemary H. Johnston, age 87, of Tate, GA passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at Northside Hospital Cherokee in Canton.
    She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. (Bob) Johnston.
    She is survived by Son & Daughter-in-law, Mike and Tammy Johnston of Talking Rock, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Robbie and Larry Robbins of Kennesaw, GA, Glenda and Terry Cagle of Jasper, GA and Celeste and Steve Swenson of Jasper, GA; grandchildren, Ryan and Anne Case, Jim and Erin Morse, Mandy and Nick Stewart, Chris and Ashley Robbins, Beth and Justin Burgess, Lauren and Patrick Molina, and Kayla Low; great-grandchildren, Isaiah Roberts, Julia and Lauren Case, Cade, Brecken and Livi Morse, Sam and Jocelyn Robbins, Anslee Burgess and Turner Stewart and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were held Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 2PM at the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. Katie Strahl officiating.  Interment at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers were Chris Robbins, Patrick Molina, Terry Cagle, Steve Swenson, Justin Burgess, Nick Stewart and Isaiah Roberts.
    The family accepted flowers or memorials to the Methodist Children's Home or Tate Methodist Church.
