Mrs. Iris Duncan, age 87 of Marble Hill, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 3015 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Linda Duncan of Marble Hill; daughter, Linda Whitmire of Marble Hill; grandchildren, Jami Makool, David Duncan, Johna Oliver, Nathan Robinson, Teresa Dyer, Danny Duncan; niece, Pam Hudson and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 20, 2015 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Cagle Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Estes officiating. Interment followed at Long Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were David Duncan, Danny Duncan, Nathan Robinson, Lee Makool, Kerry Oliver, Eric Dyer, Zack Makool, Marcus Dyer, Michael Garrison, John Robinson and Ben Robinson.

Mr. Kyle Thomas Brookshire, age 41, of the Ludville Community passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at his home.
Kyle proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
He is survived by aunts and uncles, Patsy and Bill Tippens of Woodstock, Tom and Sandy Andrews of Columbia, South Carolina; step-dad, Pete Galloway; close friends, Keith Mills, Greg Hammontree, Patrick Spears, and Amy Griffin. Several cousins and other close friends also survive.
A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2015 at the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Edwin Weaver officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Kyle Brookshire Memorial Fund through Roper Funeral Home.
Arrangements are entrusted to the staff of Roper Funeral Home & Crematory in Jasper.
